SojournKids

At Sojourn Church, we seek to make disciples of all peoples of all ages. Therefore, we don’t simply provide childcare so that adults can attend our Sunday morning gatherings. Instead, we desire to provide a place where children learn about Jesus Christ and how the entire Bible tells the story of His redeeming grace.

The mission of SojournKids is to teach children about the Gospel and equip their parents to disciple them at home.

Our Curriculum

We utilize The Gospel Project® for Kids curriculum in all of our SojournKids classrooms. This is a chronological journey through the Bible. The goal of this curriculum is to help children understand that the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story—God’s story of redemption.

Safety and Security

All volunteers working in the SojournKids ministry have gone through an application process and background check screening. All of our volunteers wear name tags and orange SojournKids lanyards when they are serving to help you identify them and to help us ensure that only approved volunteers are in our SojournKids designated areas.

We also have a specific check-in process to ensure your child's security. When you check your child in, you will receive 2 stickers - one for you and one for you child. Both have the same 3-digit alphanumeric code on it. When picking your child up, you must present this matching sticker to the volunteers.

If there is a concern regarding your child during a service, you will receive a text message on the cell phone number that you provided during check-in. If you receive such a text, please return to your child's classroom.

In order to protect all of our children, please do not send any food with your child while he/she is in the SojournKids area. All children in SojournKids, with the exception of our youngest participants in the Nursery, will receive a gluten free snack during the service.
