Hello Sojourners,

This Sunday we will begin our Discipling sermon series. For the next 5 weeks we will be spending time talking about what it means to be disciples who make disciples together.

This will be an important time in the life of our church so please make every effort to be there throughout the series. 

After we conclude our Discipling series we will jump back into the Gospel of John, which I am also very much looking forward to and hope you are as well.

This week we will be in Matthew 28:16-20. 

Here are some questions to consider as you study the text ahead of Sunday:

• What is the context of these verses? How does the fact that this happens after the resurrection effect your understanding of the text?
• What does Jesus mean in v. 18? Why does this matter?
• What is the command of v. 19? Who is supposed to do this?
• What does all nations mean? Why is this significant?
• What does baptizing disciples and teaching them have to do with making disciples?
• What is significant about Jesus promising to be with us to the end of the age?
• Who is someone you can encourage this week with something you learned from this text?
