This week we will be continuing our sermon series in Psalm 123.

But before I share some questions, I wanted to remind you of our new Sunday Morning Prayer.

One of our confident hopes is to be a church marked by persistent prayer. One way we are going to pursue that is to pray together each Sunday morning before our gathering.

We will begin this Sunday at 9:30AM in the Moms Room. Please make plans to attend.

Here are some questions to consider as you study the text ahead of Sunday:

• What is the significance of eyes, hands, and looking in this Psalm?
• What do you learn about God and his character?
• What is the author trying to communicate with the simile of v. 2?
• What key truth is the author trying to communicate for the community as we find ourselves living in a broken world?
• What do we learn about prayer from this Psalm?
• Who is someone you can encourage this week with something you learned from the text?
