• How have you seen Naomi change through this story so far? Why and how has the change taken place?
• Naomi's idea and Ruth's actions seem strange and even scandalous. What is going on and what is significant about it?
• What can we learn about our actions and God's providence from this text?
• What do you learn about God and the gospel from this text?
• Where do you see the themes of rest, action, grace, kindness, and waiting at play?
• Who is someone you can encourage this week from something you learned from the text?
