Seeing Jesus | John 2:13-25

Posted by Justin Pearson on

Hello Family,

I hope you're enjoying Jesus this week.

We will be in John 2:13-25 as we continue our Seeing Jesus sermon series.

Here are some questions to consider as you study the text ahead of Sunday:

  • What is going on in this scene in regard to the Passover and going to the temple? Why is that significant in light of what we've already learned about Jesus?
  • Why does Jesus do what he does in clearing the temple? Why does that matter?
  • In light of the resurrection, what is significant about what Jesus says in v. 19? How does John's comment in v. 21 help us understand what Jesus is saying? How does this help you see Jesus?
  • What is encouraging and helpful for your own faith from v. 22?
  • What does v. 24 mean? What is in man as it relates to believing and having faith?
  • Who is someone you can encourage this week with something you learned from the text?

May we see Jesus more clearly as we spend time in his word and gather together on Sunday!

.grace and peace.
