I hope you are doing well and seeking to see Jesus and share Jesus this week.

As we look ahead to Sunday, consider inviting someone who either doesn't yet know Jesus or isn't connected to a church to come with you to Sojourn this week. Text, call, or email them now before you forget.

On Sunday we will be in John 3:16-21.

Here are some questions to consider as you study the text ahead of Sunday:

• The word "for" connects v. 16 to what has previously been said. Why does this matter and what is John seeking to communicate?
• John 3:16 is a very well known verse. Take time to slowly read and consider each phrase and what they mean.
• What is encouraging about v. 17?
• What is challenging about v. 18?
• What do we learn about humanity and ourselves from v. 19-20? How does this change how we relate to others in seeking to share the gospel?
• How does v. 21 fit with the larger context of what John has been seeking to communicate about Jesus?
• Who is someone you can encourage this week with something you learned from this text?
