Hello Sojourners,

This coming Sunday we will finish up chapter 3 in the Gospel of John. It will also be our last Sunday in John until mid January as we will be participating in Orphan Sunday and then starting a new Advent Series.

This week we will be in John 3:22-36.

Here are some questions to consider as you study the text ahead of Sunday:

• Why are people being baptized by John and Jesus?
• What seems to be the attitude of the disciples of John as they approach him in v. 26?
• What is significant about how John responds to them in v. 27-30?
• What stands out to you about his response and how does it challenge you in your own life and ministry?
• Practically--how can you seek to see Jesus increase and you decrease?
• How do v. 31-36 connect to v. 22-30? What it the Apostle John trying to do in these verses?
• Who is someone you can encourage this week with something you learned from the text?
