This week we will continue in Our Confident Hopes sermon series. The text we will be in will be Acts 1-2. Take some time to read through both chapters this week.

Here are some questions to consider as you study the text ahead of Sunday:

• What stands out to you as you read through these two chapters?
• What is significant about what Jesus declares about the church in Acts 1:6-8? What does that mean for us today?
• What role does the Holy Spirit play in the formation and life of the church?
• What is significant about how people come to be saved? What does that mean for us today?
• What do we learn about the church in Acts 2:42-47? How should this effect our community?
• Who is someone you can encourage this week from something you learned from the text?
