This week we will be continuing on in our Songs of Advent sermon series. I've enjoyed our time in so far and am looking forward to continuing to come and adore King Jesus with you!

This week our text is Colossians 1:13-20.

Here are some questions to consider as you study the text ahead of Sunday:

• What is so significant about what God does for us and to us in v. 13-14? What does it tell us about our state apart from him and with him?
• Paul paints a grand picture of Jesus in v. 15-20. What are some of the things that stand out most to you? What do you learn about him from these verses?
• How does Paul's description of Jesus impact your view of him in your daily life?
• How is this text connected to Advent?
• Our hymn this week is O Come O Come Emmanuel. Take some time to listen to and think about the truth of this text.
• Who is someone you can encourage this week with something you learned from this text?
