This week we will be continuing in our Seeing Jesus sermon series as we journey through the Gospel of John.

The sermon text will be: John 13:36-14:14.

Here are some questions to consider as you study the text ahead of Sunday:

• What is interesting to you and significant about the interaction Peter has with Jesus in v. 36-38?
• How does 14:1 connect with what happened in John 13?
• What is Jesus seeking to do in v. 1-4? How might this encourage the disciples? How does it encourage you?
• Thomas doesn't understand (v. 5). What is significant about Jesus' response in v. 6? What do we learn about him and why does it matter for our lives?
• What do we learn about Jesus in relation to the Father in v. 8-11? How does that help you to understand Jesus more? Why does it matter?
• How does v. 12-14 fit within the context? What is Jesus saying and why do you think he says it here?
• Who is someone you can encourage this week with something you learned from this text?
