This Sunday we will be back in our Seeing Jesus sermon series.

Our text for this week is John 16:16-24.

Here are some questions for you to consider as you study the text ahead of Sunday:

• What is the context of this scene?
• Why are the disciples confused and uncertain? 
• What do we learn about emotions from this text?
• How does Jesus speak to their emotions and uncertainty? What is encouraging and helpful about this?
• In v. 22 Jesus reiterates what he has already said, but changes it a bit. What is significant about this verse? How does it encourage you?
• What is Jesus talking about in v. 23-24? How does it impact your relationship with God?
• How can we apply what Jesus says to the disciples to our lives today?
• Who is someone you can encourage this week with something you learned from this text?
