Study Questions: Philippians 1:12-18a

Posted by Justin Pearson on

Hello brothers and sisters,

I hope that your week is off to a good start as you reflect on the truth that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion when Jesus returns! What joy it is to journey with one another as he works on us and in us individually and corporately.

If you have been unable to listen to sermons from the Philippians series you can find them by clicking here or on our Sojourn app.

Here is the information for this coming week--

Text to be preached: Philippians 1:12-18a

Study and Reflection Questions:

  • Reading v. 12-14, how does Paul's perspective on his imprisonment challenge our view of our own struggles and trials?
  • What does it mean to speak the word without fear? How can we encourage one another to do this in our own lives?
  • What is Paul most concerned about in v. 13-18a? What is his singular focus? Do we have the same singular focus?
  • What does it look like for you and for our church to rejoice because the gospel is being preached?
  • Who can you encourage this week with something you learned in this text?

Enjoying soaking in the richness of God's word this week!

.grace and peace.
