Study Questions: Philippians 1:27-30

Posted by Justin Pearson on

Hello family,

Let me encourage you as you begin your week to continue to pray and reflect on what it would look like for you to actually live out Philippians 1:21--to live is Christ, to die is gain.

May we be a church that is so heavenly minded that we are of great earthly good!

If you've missed any sermons from our Philippians sermon series you can find them by clicking here.

Here is the info for this coming week...

Text to be preached: Philippians 1:27-30

Study and Reflection Questions:

  • What do you think Paul is specifically calling the Philippians to in v. 27? What does this look like in real life?
  • Why does he call them to stand firm and to strive side by side for the faith of the gospel? What does this teach us about community?
  • What does this text say about suffering? What kind of suffering is Paul talking about? What is significant about saying that it has been granted to you to suffer for the sake of Christ?
  • Who can you encourage this week with something you learned from this text?

Have a great week making much of Jesus!

.grace and peace.
Justin
