Study Questions: Philippians 3:1-11

Posted by Justin Pearson on

Hi everyone,

I am looking forward to jumping into Philippians 3 with you this week. But before I give you some questions to think through...

The sermon audio from Sunday accidentally got deleted in an effort to make some space on the computer we use to record. So unfortunately we are not able to post the sermon from Sunday. If you would like a copy of my sermon notes shoot me an email and I will send them over to you. Sorry about that!

Text to be preached: Philippians 3:1-11

Study and Reflection Questions:

  •  What it the main point Paul is addressing in v. 2-11? How would your summarize it to a friend?
  • How is v. 1 connected to v. 2-11?
  • What does it mean to count everything as loss for the sake of Christ? What does this look like in your life?
  • What is significant about what Paul says in v. 9 about righteousness? How does this impact our understanding and communication of the gospel?
  • What does Paul mean in v. 10-11? What does this look like lived out in your life?
  • Who can you encourage this week from something you learned in the text?

Rejoice in the grace of our God and King this week!

.grace and peace.
