I hope this email finds you well. This Sunday we will be finishing up chapter 3 in Philippians. I hope that God is using this sermon series in your life as you seek to pursue Jesus and live lives worthy of the gospel!

Take some time this week to study our text and prepare to gather together on Sunday.

This week we will be in Philippians 3:17-4:1.

Here are some questions for you to consider as you study the text ahead of Sunday:

• What does Paul mean by calling us to imitate him and to keep our eyes on others who are examples?
• What does this tell us about the importance of community and relationships?
• What does "their god is their belly" mean? Where do we see this in our culture?
• How does one set their mind on earthly things?
• What does it mean that you are a citizen of heaven? How does this effect they way you live here and now?
• How are you encouraged by the truth of v. 21?
• How can we stand firm and encourage one another to stand firm in light of this text?
• Who is someone you can encourage this week with something you learned in this text?
